When the grandkids come visit one of the fun activities we do is baking something yummy to eat.
Okay, mostly this is just the granddaughter.
Sometimes the boys come help if it’s something they really want. The right pie or cookies (has to be a reward you know!).
So, I saw this fun thing on Etsy, make your own bubble bath! Neat!
Turns out, it is a bit more involved than I thought but the end result is a lot of fun.
If you were just going to do this once I’m not sure I would go that far. If you think you would do it on special occasions, get a little creative with the kiddos, it would get easier as you learned how to do it.
I do like that my house has fun, unique soap you can’t find anywhere else, but I don’t take many bubbles baths! If you have kids who like to play in the suds and you want to break up the routine by making something new and colorful, hey, it makes for different experience.
How many kids can say they’ve made soap?
Now, there are adult versions where you add essential oils and can turn your bath into a real spa experience.
The benefit is that you know exactly what’s going into your soap and can choose all natural ingredients. If you’ve ever walked into a health food store and looked at the natural soap selection, you know the shock! Five dollars? For ONE bar of soap??
I’ll make my own thank you.

1. This is the easiest way. Nice picture step-by-step. You won’t get the joy of having your own soap-soap, but you’ll know everything that’s in it.
