I don’t think I’m the kind of person that would dress up their dogs in cute outfits which them look completely humiliated.
And, I used to resist even getting my smallest a jacket because she had been great without one for so long.
“So long” lasted until last winter, when I noticed she was shaking really badly when she was outside doing her business. Feeling sorry for the poor thing I felt my motherly instincts kick in and decided to try something new. A new jacket.
I have to say once I got over the feeling that I was getting my kids ready for school all over again, I thought she looked pretty darned cute!
Not only that, but when we went outside the next time she wasn’t shaking nearly as bad as she was before, which made me feel quite relieved.
As you may know, dog apparel has come a long way and is very popular(I’m all into it now!), but the one thing it can lack is quality. How do you know it’s made of good quality if you can’t feel it through the computer screen?
The best advice I can give you on this is to try and go with a reputable manufacturer. If you don’t know the manufacturer, then look at reviews! Reviews don’t lie do they?
One particular jacket I think that’s worth checking out is the Handmade Dog Poncho.
This thing is great because it’s hand made from an authentic Mexican blanket. Talk about putting the time and effort put into style and comfort! I’m a sucker for hand made things.
Also, as we all know, the older we get the more varied we are in our body shapes. And, we aren’t the only ones who experience this, our canine counterparts do too.
So, when you’re baby gets a little chub before spring they can stay comfortable with the poncho’s adjustable velcro neck.
No more have to cram Spot into a harness too small for him. Just peel apart and put back on. 2 seconds and done.
So, with all this goodness, how could anyone refuse Spot a new poncho? I know I couldn’t.
They’re on sale at Amazon if you want to get one.
